About the Role
Our client a supplier of innovative and specialist construction products is currently looking for Warehouse Operative to join their growing team. The successful candidates will have experience with builder’s merchant/construction products.
Requirements
Maintain a safe working environment at all times
Perform duties with a high level of attention to detail and quality focus
As a hands-on member of the warehouse team, undertake all tasks associated with the Goods-in; Storage, Picking/Packing and Goods-out functions
Ensure that all work is executed in line with Company policies and procedures
Specific Responsibilities
Ensure warehouse and yard areas always remain in a clean, tidy and safe condition
Ensure that products are offloaded, unpacked, packed and loaded in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure that products are stored in a safe manner in accordance with Company procedures and standards and manufacturer guidelines
Ensure all documentation associated with the Goods-in; Picking/Packing and Goods-out functions are submitted for processing in an accurate and timely manner
Participate in routine and audited stock takes
Ensure that materials handling equipment and storage equipment is fit for purpose at all times
Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
