Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering blueprints and specifications.
Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to execute manufacturing processes.
Monitor the machining process to ensure adherence to quality standards and make necessary adjustments when required.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimise manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct regular maintenance on CNC machines and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machining to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
Perform thorough inspections on finished products to verify conformance to design specifications and quality standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of all CNC programs, setups, and processes for future reference and replication.
Experience
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
