The Role

As an Assembly Operative you will be responsible for assembling various components and parts to create our renowned products. Your attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality will directly impact the final product delivered to customers. This role requires a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and other manufacturing instructions to assemble systems according to design specifications.

• Utilise a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to perform assembly tasks, such as drilling, riveting, and fastening components together.

• Inspect and test components and finished products to ensure that they meet the required quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Identify and report any defects or issues with components or products and work with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve them.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing protective gear and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.

• Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including tracking inventory levels and reporting on progress to supervisors and management.

• Participate in training programs and ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in aircraft assembly.


Additional Requirements


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
