Our client a leader in the agricultural & horticultural industry is currently looking for a warehouse storekeeper/delivery driver to join their team.

The Role

You will assist in all aspects of storage and distribution of products, with deliveries to customers when required. You will take responsibility for ensuring that customer deliveries are complete, accurate and delivered securely to the customer’s delivery address.

Key Responsibilities

  • Storage & Distribution of products from your depot.
  • Dealing with customers and colleagues to process orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Picking, checking and loading outgoing deliveries
  • Unloading and checking incoming deliveries and putting away
  • Take responsibility for stock accuracy ensuring that incoming and outgoing deliveries are checked and discrepancies highlighted
  • You will be responsible for stock rotation so ensuring that the oldest stock is used first
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy and compliant with BASIS standards
  • Stock checking and counting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • General duties such as loading/unloading of vehicles and administration as necessary
  • Helping to ensure that properties and vehicles, including forklifts, are properly maintained and comply with legislative requirements
  • You will take responsibility for maintaining the site and grounds

  • Transport Regulations such as ADR, safe loading, Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive, Road Traffic Act
  • Maintaining the company’s commitment to Customer Service Excellence
