We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our client who has more than 30 years' experience in manufacturing and supplying high purity solvents, acids, reagents and reference materials as a Sales office assistant.
The main function of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the sales office as well as working with and giving support to the administration manager.
Answering and dealing with telephone calls.
Daily close of despatched orders.
Daily order processing via post, telephone, fax and email, quickly and efficiently.
Daily invoicing of works orders.
Mailing/Contact database update.
Ensure all customers special needs re ordering requirements are documented on the system and those involved notified.
Maintain customer files and sales order files.
Other general administrative tasks.
Accuracy of sales order input and invoicing.
Speed, accuracy & compliance of ISO9001 procedures for the dissemination of information and order processing.
Effective and efficient use of computerised systems.
Speed and efficient response to customer enquiries and dissemination of the same.
Time keeping and attendance.
Previous export experience would also be beneficial but not essential.
This position is 9-17:30 Monday to Friday. Full training will be provided to the right candidate
