Our client, a world class provider of subsea technologies and services to the global offshore energy industry is looking for a QHSE Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for advising employees on all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment within the business, this will include setting up initiatives to ensure that the company complies with health, safety and environment legislations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare written reports on HSE issues for presentation to group audiences.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of safety training programs throughout JDR to improve safety awareness and comply with current legislation.
  • Communicate and promote standards to management and employees.
  • Carry out routine inspections of machinery, chemicals, emergency equipment and evacuation procedures.
  • Develop and implement HSE induction programs with reference to written standards.
  • Develop and implement environmental controls to meet current legislation requirements.
  • Assist the QHSE manager in conducting internal audits.
  • Set up systems for and carry out risk assessments as necessary. Implement corrective actions resulting from risk assessments with management approval.
  • Assist with incident and accident investigations

Additional requirements

  • Experienced in QHSE procedures
  • NEBOSH certificate
  • Internal auditing experience

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out shelf life assessments on products reporting the results via Navision
