Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of remanufactured engines, reman turbos, cylinder heads and gearboxes. 

The ‘Returns Administrator’ key duties are to:

  • Arrange core collection and transport of new units to and from customers and suppliers both in the UK and into Europe;
  • Assist with the checking and quantifying of supplier, customer and courier invoices and credits;
  • Liaise with couriers and customers whilst providing a high level of customer service;
  • Assist with checking core returns;
  • Provide holiday cover within the department as and when required.

Ideally the successful candidate for the role will:

  • Have experience of using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and Sage 200, although not essential as full in-house training will be provided;
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, free parking provided on-site

Due to our Client's rapid growth, a position has become available for a Stores Person/Driver based in Ely to work in their busy stores department and to be a major part of transfers between 2 production sites.

The main function of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the stores department.  Although this will be the successful candidate’s main priority, absolute flexibility to undertake tasks outside of the stores department is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and unloading deliveries of varying sizes using forklifts.
  • Driving a company vehicle of up to 7.5 tonnes for the purpose of transferring stock between 2 sites.
  • Accurate processing of delivery notes and booking in of goods to the ERP system.
  • Accurately processing paperwork for outgoing shipments, including the printing of delivery notes and the picking of items for shipping
  • Ensuring that goods are labelled accurately and put away promptly and into the correct locations.
  • General upkeep of stores area and maintaining a clean, orderly and safe environment for colleagues and visitors to work in.
  • Manual handling of boxes, crates and bags.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Must have experience and appropriate licenses to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes including a Driver CPC Card, and be in current practice.
  • Good communicator, especially in a complex and busy environment.
  • Must have Forklift license and be in current practice.
  • Computer literate and committed to work with precision to maintain the accuracy of company stock records.
  • Be flexible with regard to start and finish times to meet the needs of the business.

• Work within a team providing a high level of parts service to all production departments
• Order parts from a number of suppliers to maintain stock levels

• Receive goods in, check against delivery notes and enter into stock
• Be involved in regular spot checks on various product stock levels and the annual stock count

Dealing with supplier emails and telephone calls

Reconciling supplier statements in a timely manner
