Key Account Manager

Our Client, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical products based just outside Ely, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing relationships with key customers to build loyalty and sustain growth in the wider business.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers and decision makers to secure long-term business and new business.
  • Taking ownership of any problems your customer may have and managing expectations on how these can be resolved to mutual benefit of them and the company.
  • Identifying & developing potential new customer relationships.
  • Managing a budget, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.
  • Giving presentations to critical people regarding company products and services.
  • Providing accurate status reports of existing accounts and new clients.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up to date customer record files


Skills and Experience

  • Highly customer-focused, confident and able to handle pressure.
  • Strategic account management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Good organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good business sense backed by financial skills and the ability to work within budgets
  • A strong work ethic and genuine team player.
  • Competitive with a desire to succeed individually and as part of the wider team to share success
