Due to our Client’s continued success we are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their ever growing team based in Witchford, near Ely.
Working with sales & purchase ledgers, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function including book-keeping activities to ensure payment and receipt records are correct.
• Checking daily for customer receipts and processing invoice discounting
• Credit Control
• Processing Purchase Ledger invoices and credit cards
• Posting sales invoices and reconciling accounts
• Reconciling banks and petty cash weekly
• Regular supplier payment runs
• Administrative support
Required Skills and Experience:
• Use Sage 50
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Great organisational skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Payroll experience desirable
