The Role

To manage materials and kits through the department in accordance with agreed schedule & quality requirements

Key Accountabilities/Duties

  • Ensure kit cutting schedule is adhered to as agreed by Line Supervisor
  • Operate kit cutting machine and sorting of kits as necessary
  • Ensure that quality is maintained to the specific requirements at all times
  • Ensure equipment is properly and efficiently operated and maintained
  • Ensure best utilisation of materials and stock rotation control

Main Job Activities:

  • Adequately support the laminating department in line with schedules set
  • Ensure that materials are used efficiently. Identify and record materials used as required
  • Responsible for timely bookings of material
  • Identify and report expired/out of life materials

Our client, a world class provider of subsea technologies and services to the global offshore energy industry is looking for a Production Operative to join their busy team based in Littleport.

The Role

Working within the Production department dealing with extrusion, laying-up, braiding and any other processes that are required for the manufacture of sub-sea cables.

Main responsibilities to include:
