Due to our continued expansion, a position has become available within our clients procurement team for an additional Storeperson who has warehouse/stores experience.

Key responsibilities:
• Work within a team providing a high level of parts service to all production departments
• Order parts from a number of suppliers to maintain stock levels
• Carry out purchase order processing using our Sage 200 system
• Receive goods in, check against delivery notes and enter into stock
• Be involved in regular spot checks on various product stock levels and the annual stock count
• Carry out various administration duties

Ideally, the successful candidate will:
• Possess stores or warehouse experience;
• Have excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
• Maintain a positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems
• Be IT literate with experience in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
45 Hour week
Salary range: £24-28K per annum dependent on experience.

This Ely-based role is in a small team in an expanding construction company. The business continues to grow since its beginnings eight years ago and still retains its friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Inputting purchase invoices and credit notes onto Sage Accounts 50

Liaising with Procurement and Contracts Department regarding invoice queries

Dealing with supplier emails and telephone calls

Putting invoices in dispute and following up with relevant manager

Contacting suppliers for copy invoices and credit notes

Reconciling supplier statements in a timely manner

Investigate purchase ledger discrepancies

Issuing Supplier remittances according to required timescales

Filing invoices, credit notes, remittances and statements

Inputting sub-contractor invoices, expense forms and payments weekly

Collate excel spreadsheet with all subcontractor and expense payment details, ready for payment processing

Upload the pension data weekly

Assist with payroll administration

Labour analysis to projects weekly

Issue CIS statements monthly

Other general office duties include answering incoming calls and dealing with deliveries. Keep Accounts Manager updated on progress and ongoing queries.

Essential Requirements:
