Accounts & Administration Co-ordinator

Our Client, a construction company building quality residential homes in the Cambridge area, are looking for an accounts and administration co-ordinator to join their busy team based just outside of Cambridge.   

This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with potential for increased responsibilities and for the ideal candidate to make the role and accounts department their own. 

The main purpose of the role will be to coordinate the smooth running of the accounts department and assist where required with administration duties and support to the team including the Director’s, QS’s and Buyer.  The accounts are processed on Sage 50 therefore the successful candidate will require a good working knowledge of Sage and an understanding of accounts.

Main Duties

  • Monitor the admin email inbox where all invoices and statements are received. 
  • Log, distribute and track all invoices electronically throughout the process and in time for monthly payment runs.
  • Input invoices authorised for payment and batch input of the main merchant invoices, check against PO’s raised by the Buyer.
  • Input of Sub-Contractor invoices registered for the Construction Industry Scheme, verify new contractors and set up the account in Sage.
  • Raise sales invoices for customers every month
  • Produce monthly reports including reconciliation of supplier invoices against statements, outstanding PO report, maintain and oversee the disputed invoice report.
  • Input timesheet information against relevant project for each employee and collate timesheets for monthly payroll run.
  • Monitor the utility invoices for services used during construction ensuring final bills are correct when completed and handed back to the customer. 
  • Provide cover for the PA to the Directors and assist the Commercial Director’s and QS’s as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience working with Sage 50

Basic Book keeping qualification or minimum 2/3 year purchase ledger experience

Good organisation skills and the ability to work using your own initiative is vital 

Working hours

Flexible – minimum 35hrs up to 42 ½ hrs per week, core hours are 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday

The Role

Working within the Production department dealing with extrusion, laying-up, braiding and any other processes that are required for the manufacture of sub-sea cables.

Our Client, a manufacturer of roller doors and shutters, are looking for a Door Engineer / Fitter to join their busy team based in the Ely area.


Main Responsibilities:
To assist in the installation and manufacture of roller shutter doors.
In the workshop you will be using saws, drills and various metal work machinery including some welding.
On the Customer’s site, you will be assisting in the installation of the roller doors. This will involve drilling and lifting door sections into place and will be working off steps or scissor lifts.
Transport to site will be provided as passenger in a van and this could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours away.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be capable of manual labour. A forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential. Welding experience would also be an advantage.
This is temporary role but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Bulk Solutions Team supports the daily operations in fast-paced production areas for internal and external supply.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
